Fatboy is made of durable materials. The inside foam is Styrofoam which is specially developed for Fatboy. This is the reason why a Fatboy lounge bag might be priced slightly higher than an ordinary bean bag. The foam has a much longer life span than ordinary Styrofoam that you might find in the local market.

This foam has a much better ‘bounce back’ when you squeeze it, so the lifespan of a Fatboy is much longer compared to ordinary beanbags. 

Ultimately, nothing last forever, so if your well-loved Fatboy is beginning to soften with age, we now offer bean bag refills to either 'top up' or do a full replacement

• 100litre size is good for a top up
• 350litre size is equivalent to full replacement for Fatboy Original filling

Don't forget if you are going for the full replacement, the cover can be machine washed at 30°C

We currently ship across the United Arab Emirates and the GCC region — including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait.

UAE Shipping

• Free shipping on all non-discounted orders of AED 200 or more.

• For orders below AED 200, a flat fee of AED 20 applies.

• Dubai: Within 48 hours

• Other Emirates (Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah): Within 3–4 working days

GCC Shipping

• Delivery to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait within 7–10 working days.

• Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

Once your order is placed, you'll receive a confirmation email. When your items are ready to ship, a second email will be sent with dispatch details.

Returns & Exchanges

Once an order is placed, our team gets to work right away to process and prepare it, so unfortunately, cancellations and refunds are not possible.

In case you change your mind, you can return or exchange your items within 7 days of purchase. Customers can exchange items or receive a credit note (Credit notes are valid for 6 months) for the original item's value.

Items need to be returned to our warehouse and can only be returned or exchanged if they are unused and in original packaging. 

Please note: Sale and custom orders cannot be returned.

International returns:

For international orders, only the product value will be refunded, and the customer must bear the cost of returning the item.  

How to return your item (Non-discount items only):

Email us at: orders@DesertRiver.com with your order number to confirm you wish to return an order/item. Items must be returned in original packaging and unused.
