    Frequently Asked Questions

The right base depends on whether the parasol is standing alone or used through a table. For standalone setups, you’ll need a heavier base (usually 35kg+) to ensure stability against the wind. If it’s supported by a table like the Toni Tavolo, a lighter base is often sufficient. Our team can help you match the weight to your specific model.

The Miasun tent is designed to handle a typical sea breeze. Because it is open-sided, the wind passes through rather than catching it like a sail. However, in very high winds or stormy conditions, it’s best to fold it down to prevent the poles from bending or the fabric from straining.

We recommend closing your parasol and using a protective cover whenever it’s not in use. Even with UV-resistant fabrics, keeping it closed during extreme midday heat or dust storms prevents unnecessary wear and ensures the mechanism stays smooth for years.

Most of our beach essentials, including the Carry-too-much bag, are made from wipe-clean materials. For the Miasun cotton canopy, a simple shake is usually enough, but it can also be machine-washed on a cold cycle if it gets marked by salt or spills.

Yes, our portable outdoor lights are rated for outdoor use, meaning they can handle the UAE’s humidity and light splashes. While they shouldn’t be submerged in the pool, they are perfectly safe to leave on your terrace or take to a damp beach environment for the evening.
